...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Missouri, including the following counties, in south central Missouri, Howell, Shannon and Texas. In southwest Missouri, Douglas. * WHEN...Until 115 PM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 710 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings... South Prong Jacks Fork River at Highway U, Eleven Point River at County Road 1550, Gill Branch at Highway Y, North Prong Jacks Fork at Arroll Road, North Fork River at County Road 278, South Fork Jacks Fork River at Stillhouse Road and North Fork River at Highway EE. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
