...Dense fog possible through tonight...

Dense fog has been gradually making inroads from Lake Michigan
into coastal areas of northern Michigan this evening, along with
additional areas of dense fog across the eastern UP and northeast
lower. Visibilities of a quarter mile or less have been observed
in localized areas. Locally dense fog will continue into this
evening at times across portions of eastern upper and northern
lower Michigan. Untreated roadways may be slick in spots due to
freezing fog.

If you encounter dense fog while traveling, use low beam
headlights and increase following distance.
