In west central Maine, Central Somerset. In western Maine, Northern Franklin and Southern Franklin. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Elevated streams and rivers across the Western Maine Mountains will continue to move river ice, keeping a risk of ice jam related flooding through this evening. Once the streamflows recede later this evening the flood risk will improve. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Concerns for ice jam flooding. River ice can cause unexpected flooding and should be monitored closely. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Ice jams can cause unexpected water rises.
