Chesapeake Bay north of Sandy Point MD, Patapsco River

to 2 AM EST Monday. For the Gale Warning, from 2 AM to 6 PM

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON
TO 10 AM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
10 inches. Locally higher amounts up to 14 inches are possible in
northeast Maryland. Northwest winds gusting between 35 and 45 mph
overnight through Monday. Rain will change to snow between 4 PM and

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northeast, northern,
and southern Maryland.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 10 AM EST Monday. Rain or a
rain and snow mix will change to all snow between 3 PM and 6 PM
this afternoon into this evening. Snow will continue tonight
before tapering off Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Visibility will be reduced to below one-half
mile at times in falling and blowing snow overnight into Monday.
