...1 TO 2 INCHES OF WET SNOW POSSIBLE THROUGH MIDNIGHT ACROSS CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS WITH LOCALIZED 3 INCH AMOUNTS POSSIBLE NEAR THE NEW HAMPSHIRE BORDER... Steady wet snow has developed this evening across portions of central and northeast Massachusetts. Wet snow will continue to impact this region for much of the evening before moving away from the region near or shortly after midnight. Total snow accumulation of 1-2 inches will be possible across portions of central and northeast Massachusetts with localized 3 inch amounts possible near the New Hampshire border. Given temperatures near freezing...many treated roadways will be wet or just slushy. However...brief bursts of moderate snow may allow for more slippery conditions to develop especially on secondary roadways in the high terrain. Drive with extra caution this evening across central and northeast Massachusetts.
