* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, southwest winds 10 to 20
kt with gusts up to 25 kt and seas 2 to 4 feet expected. For
the Gale Watch, northwest winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to
40 kt and seas 4 to 6 feet possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Massachusetts coastal waters and Rhode
Island coastal waters.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 10 AM this morning
to 1 AM EST Sunday. For the Gale Watch, from Sunday evening
through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 PM
EST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4
inches.

* WHERE...The south coast of Rhode Island and Massachusetts
including Cape Cod and the Islands.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 7 PM EST Sunday. The bulk of the
accumulating snow will fall very late Saturday night into Sunday
morning. Snow may linger into Sunday afternoon across far
southeast New England and potentially into Sunday evening for the
Cape and Nantucket.


* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions especially for those
who are traveling Sunday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
