...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE SUNDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The Flood Watch includes the Kentucky counties of Bath, Elliott, Estill, Fleming, Menifee, Montgomery, Powell and Rowan, Johnson, Martin, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne, Whitley, Bell, Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Harlan, Jackson, Knott, Knox, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Magoffin, Morgan, Owsley, Perry, Pike and Wolfe. * WHEN...The Flood Watch is in effect until late Sunday night. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of creeks, streams, and other low lying and flood prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms producing locally heavy rainfall are expected through the weekend. Already wet soils in some areas will make these locations more susceptible to flooding. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
