...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Indiana, including the following
counties, Hamilton, Madison and Tipton.

* WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1123 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain. Flooding
is already occurring in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 7
inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Elwood, Tipton, Cicero, Arcadia and Atlanta.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

- At 946 PM EDT, 3 to 6 inches of rain over the last 24 hours
has led to flooding along waterways in north central Indiana.
River gauge reports along Pipe and Big Duck Creeks report
minor flooding.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is

Elwood and Frankton.
