Southwestern Greene County in southwestern Indiana... Northeastern Knox County in southwestern Indiana... Northwestern Martin County in southwestern Indiana... Southeastern Sullivan County in southwestern Indiana... * WHEN...Until 430 AM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1030 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... ...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Monroe, Brown, southwestern Bartholomew, northern Martin, southern Greene, Lawrence, northwestern Jackson and northeastern Daviess Counties through 1100 PM EDT... At 1011 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles east of Bloomington to 12 miles north of Bedford to 10 miles south of Bloomfield. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Bloomington, Columbus, Bedford, Bloomfield, Nashville, Odon, Oolitic, Lyons, Newberry, Crane, Smithville, Lake Lemon, Gnaw Bone, Bartlettsville, Burns City, Spurgeons Corner, Williams, Avoca, Pleasant View, and Monroe Reservoir.
