Northern Morgan County in central Indiana... Putnam County in west central Indiana... * WHEN...Until 900 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 429 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Plainfield, Greencastle, Mooresville, Danville, Avon, Cloverdale, Brooklyn, Monrovia, Clayton, Bainbridge, Fillmore, Coatesville, Amo, Stilesville, Bethany, Little Point, Belle Union, Eminence, Groveland and Lake Hart. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Southeastern Putnam County in west central Indiana... * Until 900 AM EDT Thursday. * At 255 AM EDT, Putnam County dispatch reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Local dispatch reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
