Plaines gauge.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Big Bend Road threatened in Des Plaines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river appears to be close to cresting. It is
expected to begin falling by tomorrow afternoon, but will
remain above flood stage through much of the week.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and forecasted to continue.

* WHERE...Des Plaines River from Townline Road in Libertyville
downstream to Palatine Road in Prospect Heights, including the
Lincolnshire gauge.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Structures threatened along IL-22
(Half-Day Road) just east of the river. Multiple structures
threatened near and west of US-45 (Milwaukee Avenue) and Deerfield
Road. Deerfield Road threatened near the river. Multiple trails
inundated in Half-Day Forest Preserve.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 15.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river appears close to cresting. It is
expected to remain near 15.1 to 15.2 feet through the next 24
hours before gradually falling thereafter. It is expected to
remain above flood stage through the week.
- Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
