Kankakee County in northeastern Illinois... Will County in northeastern Illinois... * WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 928 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms with rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour moving into an area with high soil moisture due to recent rainfall. Minor flooding may begin shortly after the onset of rainfall. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
