Urban areas may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to rapid runoff. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Unstable tropical moisture left from the departing kona low and troughing aloft will bring possible heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms through the afternoon hours. A large band of thunderstorms continues to approach the Big Island from the west-southwest direction, which may produce another round of heavy rainfall later today.
