* Until 230 AM EDT Saturday.

* At 829 PM EDT, Emergency management reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 4 inches
of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 4 inches in
1 hour. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Americus, Plains, Leslie, De Soto, Desoto, Cobb, Sumter, Lamar,
Maddox, Huntington, New Era, Croxton Crossroads, La Crosse,
Bumphead and Friendship.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
