...PATCHY BLACK ICE POSSIBLE ACROSS MOST OF EASTERN NEW YORK AND WESTERN NEW ENGLAND TONIGHT... Patchy black ice may form tonight into early Saturday morning across most of eastern New York and western New England. Temperatures falling below freezing may result in residual snow melt or moisture freezing on untreated roads, bridges, overpasses sidewalks and parking lots. Motorists and pedestrians should exercise caution, as any surfaces that are damp may be black ice. Temperatures will rise above freezing late Saturday morning which will diminish the black ice threat.
