* WHAT...High temperatures in the upper 90s.

* WHERE...Fort Collins, Boulder and the western suburbs of Denver,
and Denver.

* WHEN...From 10 AM to 9 PM MDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.

issued the following...

WHAT...Ozone Action Day Alert.

WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western
Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties

WHEN...400 PM Saturday July 11 to 400 PM Sunday July 12

IMPACTS...Ozone Action Day Alert is now in effect for the Front
Range Urban Corridor.  Hot, dry, and stagnant weather will allow
ozone to reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category on
Saturday and Sunday. For Colorado air quality conditions,
forecasts, and advisories, visit:

possible, please help us reduce ozone pollution by limiting
driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles until at least 4 p.m.
