...DENSE FOG TO AFFECT MOST OF THE COASTAL WATERS DURING THE NIGHT AND MORNING HOURS THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING... Areas of dense fog will be possible over much of the coastal waters especially during the night and morning hours tonight through Sunday. Mariners should be prepared for abrupt visibility changes down to one nautical mile or less, and local visibilities of less than one quarter nautical mile to near zero will be possible at times. Reduce speeds and be on the lookout for exposed rocks and other vessels, including large ships in the shipping lanes. Use radar or GPS navigation if available, and consider remaining in harbor if such equipment is unavailable.

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM SATURDAY TO 8 PM PDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Very warm temperatures of 90 to 100 degrees expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest California. * WHEN...From 10 AM Saturday to 8 PM PDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1. Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.
