Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... ...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Flooding may be exacerbated by additional rainfall this evening and overnight. * WHERE...Extreme southwestern Kern county. * WHEN...Until 400 AM PST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 653 PM PST, The public and law enforcement have reported flooding in the warned area. Any additional rainfall may lead to more road closure or mud slides because the ground is so wet. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
