...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM PDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...San Bernardino County in southern California... * WHEN...Until 745 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 540 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Radar estimated 0.25 and 0.5 inches of rain have fallen so far. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mount San Gorgonio, Onyx Summit, Hwy 38 Between Onyx Summit And Sugarloaf, Hwy 38 Between Yucaipa And Onyx Summit and Heart Bar Campground. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 503 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... For the Heat Advisory, high temperatures in the mid 90s to 102 expected. * WHERE...San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire. * WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM PDT Wednesday. For the Heat Advisory, from 8 PM Wednesday to 8 PM PDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events.
