...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 409 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following
county, San Bernardino.

* WHEN...Until 409 PM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become
impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 244 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 0.25 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
Rainfall rates up to 0.3"/hr are expected over the next hour.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley, I-15 Through The Cajon
Pass, Hwy 2 Between Phelan And Wrightwood, Lake Arrowhead,
Adelanto, Silverwood Lake Rec Area, Hwy 138 Between I-15 And
Hwy 2 and Crestline.

counties, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino.

* WHEN...Until 354 PM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 242 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 1
inch of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Anaheim, Riverside, San Bernardino, Fontana, Moreno Valley,
Ontario, Corona, Rialto, Chino and Redlands.

TUESDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Arizona, southeast California, and
southern Nevada.

* WHEN...Until 2 AM PST / 3 AM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strongest winds are expected in the afternoon
and evening hours with winds gradually decreasing overnight.
Strong winds will impact travelers on Interstate 15 and Interstate
40.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Secure outdoor objects.

Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous
