...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Snow. Snow accumulations of 4 to 12 inches above 7000 feet. Below 7000 feet, snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. Wave heights on Lake Tahoe up to 2 feet. * WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area. * WHEN...Until 10 PM PST this evening. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes. Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions improve. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
