...STRONG OUTFLOW WINDS AND FREEZING SPRAY RETURN THIS WEEKEND... Strong and cold northerly outflow winds will quickly ramp up across the region through the weekend. Starting Friday morning, Yakutat bay will see gale force northerly winds, with storm force likely out of the upper bay. Friday afternoon northerly winds will build to gale force for Glacier Bay and Lynn Canal, spreading south through the night. Heavy freezing spray is also anticipated to follow in the aforementioned area Friday evening. Winds continue to increase through the weekend, with Lynn Canal likely seeing storm force conditions and heavy freezing spray Sunday.
