...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 AM AKST WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches. Visibility reduced to as low as one half mile at times in heavier snowfall. * WHERE...Anchorage / Eagle River (all elevations). * WHEN...From 3 AM to 9 AM AKST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates of up to one inch of snow per hour are possible during the Wednesday morning commute. The snow will be light and powdery in nature and easily lofted by moving vehicles. The combination of heavier snowfall rates and easily transportable snow may lead to significantly reduced visibilities at times on area roadways. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
