A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Tidal Potomac from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD... Tidal Potomac from Key Bridge to Indian Head MD... At 547 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing winds to around 20 to 25 knots. These showers were located along a line extending from 9 nm northwest of Leesylvania State Park to 7 nm northwest of Quantico to 7 nm west of Aquia Creek, moving east at 30 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 20 to 25 knots and locally higher waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. &&
