...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Snow. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches. * WHERE...In Maine, Coastal York County. In New Hampshire, Coastal Rockingham, Eastern Hillsborough, and Interior Rockingham Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...A weak weather system will bring a period of snowfall to the region. Although snowfall amounts will be light, travel will still be impacted due to snowfall accumulations on untreated roads. The potential exists for snowbands that will bring periods of locally heavy snowfall, which will lead to rapid snow accumulations and extremely dangerous travel conditions. Periods of moderate and heavy snow will combine with low visibility to create dangerous driving conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
