As colder temperatures arrive across northern Michigan this
morning, a transition from rain to wet snow is expected. Snow
could fall locally heavy at times through the morning hours.
While snow accumulation is expected to be minimal, generally under
an inch, pockets of reduced visibilities and slick roads are
possible. Snow will diminish from west to east early this
afternoon.

Light to Norwood MI, Sleeping Bear Point to Grand Traverse
Light MI, Point Betsie to Sleeping Bear Point MI and Manistee

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 9 AM EST this
morning. For the Gale Warning, from 9 AM this morning to 4 PM
EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous highest waves which
could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
