19.11.2025 in the morning a precipitation zone will start crossing Latvia from the southwest – heavy snowfall is expected, and in the morning and during the day locally a 3-5 cm thick snow cover will form. All traffic participants are asked to be cautious – parts of road will be slippery and covered with snow, and visibility during the snowfall will decrease! BE AWARE of heavy snowfall!
Snowfall can hinder the movement of vehicles on the roads, as well as pedestrian movement.
Visibility will be reduced during snowfall and blizzard conditions.
Snowfall and wet snow deposits in certain areas can cause tree branches to break and damage power lines.
Outdoor activities may be affected in certain areas.
Be careful when walking, riding a bike or car.
