...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CHST TUESDAY... * WHAT...Northeast to east winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and seas 8 to 11 feet. * WHERE...Marianas Coastal Waters. * WHEN...Until 5 PM ChST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated northeast to east swell and wind waves, and long-period north to northeast swell continues to produce hazardous seas up to 11 feet through Tuesday afternoon. Winds will be moderate to strong through Tuesday, then gradually diminishing to gentle to moderate late week. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions. &&

...HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...East facing reefs of the Marianas. * WHEN...Through Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated northeast to east swell, and minor long-period northeast swell will continue to produce a high risk of rip currents along east facing reefs through Tuesday afternoon. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. &&
