          Maximum temperatures in the high thirties and low forties over the Southeast Coast and Wide Bay and Burnett, and reaching the low to high forties further inland. Maximum temperatures over the Southeast coast and Wide Bay and Burnett will decrease to high twenties to high thirties from Tuesday. Overnight minimum temperatures in the high teens to high twenties, reaching the low thirties far inland over the Channel Country. 

Severe heatwave conditions through most of southern QLD are expected to persist well into this week. Severe heatwave conditions over the Southeast Coast and wide Bay and Burnett are expected to ease from Tuesday.   Locations likely to be impacted include Birdsville, Charleville, Goondiwindi, Ipswich, Kingaroy, Longreach, Roma, Stanthorpe, Thargomindah and Warwick.
