New drone footage of Runaway Bay, Texas, shows the trail of destruction left behind by what the National Weather Service has deemed an EF2 tornado. At least two deaths were reported in North Texas, and dozens of families have lost their homes. The tornado, which brought maximum winds of 130 mph, stayed on the ground for four minutes, covering nearly a mile and a half.
Teams from the National Weather Service will be spread out across southeast Kansas after multiple tornadoes were reported in the region late Sunday night. They’ll be taking a close look at the damage in Oswego, where trees were torn down onto homes, at least one building was ripped apart and a freight train was flipped on its side.
