More than 50 million face the threat of severe storms. This includes the likelihood of very strong tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds as a level 4 out of 5 severe threat is issued.

An EF2 tornado has left a town in North Texas in shambles and survivors are describing what they went through. Entire homes were lifted off their foundations in Runaway Bay as the twister hit Saturday night. At least 20 families have been displaced and one person died there. And it wasn’t the only life lost in the region.

Teams from the National Weather Service will be spread out across southeast Kansas after multiple tornadoes were reported in the region late Sunday night. They’ll be taking a close look at the damage in Oswego, where trees were torn down onto homes, at least one building was ripped apart and a freight train was flipped on its side. A hydrofoil surfer riding the waves near Haleiwa, Hawaii, couldn’t believe it when a whale breached the water and threw up its tail right next to him! Eric Sterman was riding between Turtle Bay and Keiki Beach when it happened. He says while it's “super common” for him to pass whales, getting it on video was amazing.
