An active pattern is setting up across the Pacific Northwest, which includes a moderate to strong atmospheric river event by the middle to end of the week. Coastal locations in Washington, Oregon and Northern California could see 3 to 8 inches of rain with isolated totals as high as 12 inches by Friday.
