Winter Storm Iona brought the upper Midwest to a standstill with relentless snowfall that buried communities faster than plows could clear them. Central Wisconsin saw at least 2 feet of snow in 24 hours, while Michigan's Upper Peninsula could see up to 4 feet total. The storm is expanding as it intensifies, bringing sustained heavy snowfall and creating whiteout conditions and zero visibility on roads.
