Back-to-back winter storms will bring more snow to the Midwest and Great Lakes Monday after accumulating snow this weekend. Winter Storm Chan will intensify off the East Coast, bringing the potential for snow and ice to the Northeast Tuesday into Wednesday. I-95 cities need to monitor closely, especially Boston.

Winter Storm Bellamy will snarl holiday travel across the Midwest and Great Lakes this weekend. Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for places like Chicago, Des Moines, Milwaukee and Grand Rapids where 6-12 inches of snow is in the forecast. Airport delays are likely and travel will become difficult to impossible. If you are traveling this weekend and can be flexible with your plans, it may be worth waiting until Sunday to drive home as conditions will be improving for many.

More than 8 inches of snow were reported in parts of northeast Ohio as lake-effect snow pummeled the region.
