It’s going to be a tense weekend for thousands of people in Northern Michigan, heavy rain and rising rivers have already washed out roads, crumbled bridges and pushed into neighborhoods and homes. All eyes are on dams in Cheboygan, Newaygo county. With more severe storms expected across the Great Lakes this weekend, some homes have been evacuated, and Gov. Nocturnal Tornado Rips Through Michigan Ice Arenas, Homes

Tornado sirens woke up people in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as severe storms and a now confirmed EF1 twister raked across the city early Wednesday. Massive trees crashed to the ground across the city. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office begged drivers to stay off the streets in southeast Wisconsin Wednesday night. Dozens of drivers had to be rescued after their cars, trucks and minivans got stuck in rising floodwaters. Rain Pours Through Brewers’ Stadium Roof

Heavy rains Wednesday night in Milwaukee led to streams of water pouring through the roof of American Family Field where the Brewers were facing the Toronto Blue Jays. The domed stadium’s convertible roof has seen leaks before during strong rainstorms and high winds. The game continued and the Brewers won 2-1, snapping a six-game losing streak.
