Mobile homes in Flat Rock, Illinois, are almost unrecognizable after a tornado ripped through Crawford County. Dramatic video shows vehicles tossed into downed trees. Several people were trapped in their homes, with at least one woman sent to the hospital. Severe storms also brought hail, high winds, rain and a damaging tornado to Bloomington, Indiana, on Thursday.

Snow and gusty winds will impact the Great Lakes Friday before tapering off Saturday. Gusty winds and blowing snow will reduce visibility, even when the snow is not falling, so expect travel to be impacted. This system will bring rain to most of the Interstate 95 corridor for the Friday morning and evening commutes. However, rain will then change over to snow across New England, so minor accumulations are expected in Hartford, Providence and Boston. Watch this video to see how much snow is in your forecast.
