Lake-effect snow will continue to fall across western and upstate New York Friday with the heaviest band forecast to set up downwind of Lake Ontario, north of Syracuse. The pattern stays active into early next week with multiple clipper systems bringing the chance for snow Saturday night into Sunday and then again on Monday. Travel will be impacted and could become difficult or impossible at times.
