Winter Storm Bellamy will impact holiday travel through this weekend. Snow shifts southeast into the Midwest and Great Lakes Saturday. This winter storm will bring snow farther south than Winter Storm Alston, to places like Des Moines, Omaha, Chicago, St. Louis and Detroit. Currently, a swath of 2-5 inches of snow will be likely Montana into the Dakotas. Portions of Iowa and Northern Illinois could receive 5-10 inches of snow with a corridor of snow as far south as the Ohio River Valley.
