Yes, the gutter makes a nice extension of
the nest - full nest and parent can stand
on gutter! However birds are so agile. As
you can see this robin is balancing on
tip edge of nest. Of course, that nest
will get fuller by end of the week when
they are all filled out and ready to

They do seem to get out of the nest fast, but they
hang around the area for quite a while as the
parents teach them how to hunt food and other
bird lessons. I love watching them in 'school'.
