Lamps on Sidewalk

Omaha, NE (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I took this photo during the snow storm we had last night. I thought the combination of Christmas lights, new snow fall, active snow and twilight would be interesting. What do you think?

These Two Shots are Awesome! I live in Omaha also, just outside of the City limits on the North Western Side of Omaha. We got just a little over 6 inches [not a Big Snowfall] but it was a Very Beautiful Snowfall! I need to Check out the Downtown Omaha more often. With the Christmas Lights it really looks Nice!

I have this same image in black and white. It is even more nostalgic than this one. But I can't remember ever seeing a B&W on this site so I didn't post it. Taking this shot was a little on the chilly side. The wind was blowing and the snow was still falling. I was having a heck of a time keeping the lens clear.

About LarryD

LarryD

I really enjoy this site. The wonderful photos I see here never cease to amaze, and inspire me. I look forward to reading the comments on my photos. I am inordinately pleased when I am awarded an Approvers Choice. I use Nikon equipment and am especially fond of macro photography. I continue to be astounded by the beauty in the miniature world visible though my lens. Additionally, I rarely have to venture very far to find interesting subjects. The Henry Doorly zoo is my favorite location. If you get to Omaha Nebraska. I highly recommend you spend some time at the zoo with your camera. Larry
