Caption: Mount Diablo is one of the biggest heaps of dirt we've got around these parts, and a whole lot of it is on fire from a fast moving wildfire that started yesterday from a lightning strike. It grew from nothing to over 4000 acres in 24 hours. Mandatory evacuations have been underway. Lots of horses in the area, and people are trucking out as many as they can. I saw this smoke coming over the ridge at sunset.
