Thank you, Elaine! These are in full sun, which helps the color develop, whereas the ones in the earlier photo were in a planter box on my porch and got only about half a day of sun.

Yes they are, Boaz! In fact, I have to be careful how I handle the plants, as the sap is very irritating. How my friend can EAT them is beyond me, but he's welcome to them.
