About tomfdpix

I live near near McKeesport,Pa along the Youghiogheny River. I am a "Old Film Guy" I bought my first 35mm SLR back in the early 70's while serving in the Navy. Got bitten with the photography bug back in Junior High School when our Science Teacher taught the class black and white film processing.I have had some sort of camera since then. I still have film cameras a Canon Elan and Rebel. Recently purchased a Canon 40D and had a Powershot before that and I can't forget the Droid X..While working and helping raise a family the photography was not the number 1 priority. The kids are grown and a rekindled interest and here I am.I enjoy the photos other folks post here and enjoy seeing all the great talent and artwork. In my book a lot of is just that. I hope to improve a lot and start posting more here myself. I appreciated the comments on my posts here both pro and con. I hope your weather day is wunderful were you reside...
