About pictaqer

I love to take pictures and have done so since going into the Air National Guard in 1979. I was in a mobile communications squadron and got to travel to many states and 3 other countries. I learned hard and slow about cameras and film and chose mostly to travel lite and be able to point and shoot mostly. I still prefer this way but now I can get great photos with a digital camera. My wife dragged me into the digital age , taking me to the computer store and forcing me to pick a camera, bag, memory and recharable batteries ! I took to it like a fish to water and have not taken another film picture 6 years later. With many vacations and even more weekend trips, I have alot of great shots and like to share. We get alot out of the short trips, breaks the stress of the week, gets us out of the house, see alot of things and places in Texas and enjoy our time together. I choose to not spend time making alot adjustments to take 1 picture but have great respect for those who do. I will get more pics out to share soon. This is me in our backyard one morning just having coffee and my wife got a good shot of me in a relaxed state. I have some nice pictures of her and her flowers too. Thanks to all the others who share their great photos !
