vieques, PR (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Afternoon heating of the land on Vieques island created this curved band of convection that perfectly followed the curve of the coastline. The photo was taken from Blue Beach on the south shore of Vieques. This beach was probably the most beautiful beach I've ever visited, and was virtually deserted. The snorkeling was very good, and our inflatable kayak let us make journeys out to several small islands in the bay and snokle and explore there.
