Hotchkiss, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I forgot I had these. Last Saturday we went to an old car show and the Sheep Dog Trials in Hotchkiss. These dogs were fun to watch. A lot of them were very young and using this time for practice. Some of them knew exactly what to do. The handler uses a series of clicks, whistles and verbal commands, depending on the person. The dogs get intense. I picked one dog to show you a few moves. Here...waiting for its turn.

It is a beautiful setting and so much fun to watch
those dogs working their hearts out for their people!
A lot fo them were young and just learning, and
didn't do so well, but they'll be back.
Thanks for looking and commenting, Maria!

I rated a bunch but I am only writing one or two comments. I have enjoyed the photos, and I have learned through the photos. I feel so calm when I look at these pastoral settings/photos.
