Thanks so much, Mindi. Yes, it's so sad to see all these wonderful old barns falling into disrepair and eventually into the ground. Some are especially heartbreaking.

Another lovely melancholy winter scene here Kathy! I wish people could afford to have their lovely old structures repaired or something...what a shame,,and oh the stories some of them could tell! Thank U for sharing!!:))

This is a great set of photos that show what Minnesota weather can be like. I noticed that you are midway between Duluth and Hibbing, my home town. It's been a long time since I've been up that way which I miss. Northern Minnesota is some of the prettiest country that I've seen. You seem to be centrally located in some of the coldest part of the state.

Looks like it was a nice one, too! Big! You
hate to see them fall apart, but it does provide
photo ops.

About minnesotamom

Hi! My name is Kathy and I live in northern Minnesota, USA, where the winter temps have dipped down to -60º below zero F. The summers used to be mild but in recent years have been up in the 90ºs. I love being able to travel the world from my office chair, through all your great photos! I've learned tons about photography and editing photos thanks to all the great people on here and their willingness to share tips. Thank you to all you Wunderfriends who take time to look and leave notes---I deeply appreciate it. :-)
