Caption: Once again the horse rescue has taken in orphans of another kind. These babies don't know it but they need to be running toward help instead of away from it. Too cute and what a delight to have babies this time of year.

About dixiedaughter

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Wetumpka on Lake Jordan in Titus, AL (we recently moved from Lake Cameron in Pike Road). I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2017 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Titus, Alabama
