Frozen Pond in Maine

Blue Hill, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: The pond seen here is frozen and has about 16" of newly fallen snow on it. Winds are gusting at around 50 mph, so it is quite cold and not a place to stay out very long. I still enjoy the beauty of the pond in winter.

About deepwoods

deepwoods

Enjoy taking photos in the area of Downeast Maine where I live near the shore with my husband and our dog, Drzl, who is one half greyhound and one half rhodesian ridgeback. I am not a professional, I just shoot what looks cool or interesting to me. Thanks for looking!
