Gardner, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: This was one of the most memorable sights that I have ever come across. We were heading S on CO69 north of Gardner in the Wet Valley with several rain shafts and virga to our SW. Suddenly the sky begin turning bright orange as the last of the suns rays shown through Mosca Pass to the west and illuminated the precip aloft. It certainly was one of those 'Right Place at the Right Time' moments as it lasted only about three minutes. What a great end to a great day of scenery in southern CO.
