Caption: I rode my bike up into the mountains today to get this shot over the Pacific Ocean at Arcata, CA. I only have a point-and-shoot, but I was able to get these amazing images. Ring of fire and a faint halo around the sun! There was just enough of a break in the clouds for the sun to come through. Right after the annular eclipse finished, the clouds got thicker, the wind started to pick up, and the temperature dropped.
